贝蒂·希金斯的简介
贝蒂·希金斯拥有葡萄牙，爱尔兰和德国三国血统，1944年12月8日出生于美国弗罗里达的希腊居民区塔蓬斯普林斯，为美籍德国人。希金斯幼年时就才艺惊人，12岁时成为口技艺人，少年时在当地才艺大赛获奖并在学校集会表演中获得最受欢迎称号。希金斯在高中时组件了乐队，主要在毕业舞会、归乡舞会和短袜舞会中表演。高中毕业后，希金斯进入美国圣彼得堡学院学习新闻学和艺术。最终，他离开了大学成为了一名鼓手，开始了艺术生涯。 他的音乐生涯始于一个青年乐队，“The Romans （后更名The Roemans）,该乐队在20世纪60年代早期与ABC Paramount唱片公司签约，曾一度支持过歌手Tommy Roe，并因此改变乐队Romans的拼写。乐队于1964到1966年间发行了三首单曲。这些曲子在一些电台播放但未登上任何国内排行榜。他擅长演唱热带生活和爱情歌曲，70年代末开始音乐创作。1982年，他写出他唯一的一张Top40的唱片《Just Another Day in Paradise》，其中的《Key Largo》于1981年完成，更上了BillboardHot 100的榜单并成十大浪漫民谣，该曲登Top 40达17周并被RIAA鉴定为黄金单曲。《Key Largo》是Bertie在美国流行排行榜上的一次历史性突破，不但使美国乐界对它引起了注意，而且也成为了世界性的热门曲，在英国，达UK歌曲排行榜Top 60。紧跟着Bertie又写出《Casablanca》(卡萨布兰卡)，《Pirates and Poets》等，其中《Casablanca》为Bertie观看经典影片《Casablanca》（北非谍影）后，有感而发所做，而非原电影插曲。他擅长演唱热带生活和爱情歌曲，曾经当过海棉采集手， 12岁时当过口技演员，在Tampa Bay学校里的天才竞赛中得过头奖，成为当地各演出团体和俱乐部中的风流人物。离校后为Tommy Roe做鼓手，在世界各地巡演，还曾为Rolling Stones滚石，The Beach Boys沙滩小子， Tom Jones汤姆·琼斯，Roy Orbison罗依·奥毕逊，Manfred Mann，Peter and Gordon，The Dave Clark Five等众多艺人表演的开场演出。令他得益最多的是他随Beatlemania （一支完全模仿Beatles的演唱组）一起演出的时候。今年，Bertie与他的儿子Julian Higgins进入电影制作业，制作The Wrath（Lion Gate 狮门影业出品），以及一部在2009年上映的自行车运动影片Poker Run。Bertie也与别人合写过剧本，监督音乐，并曾在电影中出演主角。2011年12月31日参加中国中央电视台“启航2012元旦晚会”。演唱其经典歌曲《卡萨布兰卡》。并用英文演唱歌曲《传奇》。
